Wineries, wine and a unique experience in Northern Argentina

Argentina on the Go Stand: LT48
Wineries, wine and a unique experience in Northern Argentina

The vastness of the territory, its geographical conditions, climate, and wide temperature range are some of the factors that make the wine from this region one of the most sought-after in the country. While the province of Mendoza, in Western Argentina, is globally a greater favorite when it comes to winemaking, the wine produced in the North is gaining more and more recognition worldwide. The grapevine in Argentina is grown in 13 out of its 24 provinces, with the Northern region being one of the most outstanding.

Which are the most highly valued varieties in this region?

Torrontés, Bonarda, Malbec and Syrah. The vineyards in Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, and Catamarca lie between 750 and 3,329 meters above sea level.

Come and join us on a tour of some of the best wineries in the region.
